Arts Archive

The Shelburne County Arts Archive is an ambitious process to archive the arts history of Shelburne County. The archive was created when SCAC hired an employee to establish the collection and is carried on by volunteer board members and others. It's both a celebration of the rich cultural and artistic history of the county and a source for new projects such as the retrospective of local theatre through the years. One of the projects that came out of the archive collection was the publication of a book based on original poetry and artwork created by a Shelburne County family some 80 years ago (opposite). The archive is housed at the Shelburne County Museum.
