From time to time, SCAC offers workshops for kids and adults alike in all artistic genres from theatre to art, from writing to music to dance. One example was The African Roots of Hip Hop workshop in Birchtown with Njacko Backo. SCAC has supported a number of workshop providers and participants on its own and through other organizations such as the Harmony Bazaar Festival of Women and Song in Lockeport and the Whirligig and Weathervane Festival in Shelburne.
